There’s A New Kids Competition In Town And It Involves Glitter

Not sure if you’ve heard, but ANOTHER streaming platform was released today called HBO Max!
And before you deep sigh and roll your eyes, just know that you’ll be able to watch ALL of the Harry Potter movies on HBO Max! Lol But if you’re not a Harry Potter fan then how do you feel about glitter?
Cause this new streaming platform also has a new kids competition called Craftopia and it involves a ton of it.
Craftopia is a new kids crafting competition show hosted and executively produced by YouTube influencer Lauren Riihimaki aka (LaurDIY).
Creating and demonstrating crafts to over 8.9 million subscribers on her YouTube channel, LaurDIY has been deemed the “millennial Martha Stewart” by Forbes.
I mean, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of her, but I’m usually not on YouTube! Lol (Of course, we’ll be spending lots more time on YouTube now that we have our own channel, but yeah. Lol Have you seen our We Bare Bears movie trailer reaction video yet? If not, you should totally check it out!)
On Craftopia, 9 to 15-year old contestants put their imaginations to the test and make their crafting dreams come true in a magical studio.
After racing to fill up their carts with inspiring materials from the studio “store,” crafters meet larger-than-life challenges, making truly inventive and amazing creations in order to take home the ‘Craftrophia.’
I don’t know about you, but we’ll definitely be watching this!
My kid loves watching kid competitions (which is how we ended up watching Disney Plus’s Be Our Chef family cooking competition last week) so I’m excited to see what these kids come up with!
Personally, I could never! I suck at crafting! But I absolutely love watching TV shows with people (or kids) making things I could never make. Lol HBO Max launched today, so you can start watching Craftopia today!
