3 Mocktail Recipes Inspired By Nickelodeon Shows

Disclaimer: These recipes were found on the Nickelodeon Parents website, as well as the photos that appear in this post. I take no credit for their awesomeness! I just wanted to share it with you.
Summer is quickly approaching, and even though this year won’t be the same as last year, that doesn’t mean this Summer doesn’t have to be fun! The moment I saw these mocktail recipes for kids on the Nickelodeon Parents website I knew we were gonna have a good Summer!
It was like a sign to all parents so that we could remember what really counts this Summer, our kids!
While we may not be able to do ALL the fun things we want to do this Summer, we can definitely lay in front of the fan (and make those weird noises like we did in the 90s lol) and sip on these cool mocktails inspired by our favorite Nickelodeon tv shows.
Oh, wait did I say our? I meant our KIDS favorite shows! Lol But then again, if you know me, then you know I really meant OUR, because I’m still a big kid and I still love Nickelodeon! Plus these mocktails are CUTEEE!
This “daiquiri” was inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles show and is perfect for kids who love watching TMNT!
Now, I’m not sure I’d drink this one myself, but if your kid is braver and better than the picky adult that I am, I’m pretty sure they’ll love this smoothie that’s disguised as a frozen daiquiri.
After you blend your green and orange smoothies, place both smoothies in the freezer for at least 1 hour to thicken, so that the colors don’t blend together. Then fill the mason jar 2/3rds of the way up with your green smoothie. Add an inch and a half of the orange smoothie, and then fill the rest of your mason jar with the green smoothie. That’s it!
If you’re in need of mason jars, try one of the plastic ones below.
Since you know, kids and glass cups don’t mix well! Lol Especially when they’re distracted by the TV! Lol
Now, I’m not gonna sit here and lie to you … I wouldn’t drink this “mojito” either! Lol First of all, I HATE mojitos! Margaritas are way better!
Secondly, I don’t like watermelon juice! Lol I wanna throw up just thinking about it! BUT … we are currently obsessed with pomegranate seeds and my daughter loves Shimmer and Shine so I thought this one was cute.
If it were me, I’d replace the watermelon juice with pink lemonade, replace the mint with a tiny umbrella, and sugar the rim. (Yes, yes, I’m turning it into a margarita, judge ya mama. Lol)
But since I didn’t make this recipe, I shall not complain! Lol
Pour the watermelon juice into a cup. Add 10-12 pomegranate gems to the juice. Add a slice of lime to the rim of the glass. Garnish with mint for decoration, and you’re ready to serve!
Unless you’re an avid party thrower, you probably need clear “cocktail” cups, right? So here’s a few below.
Now, this one right here, THIS mocktail right here? This one I’ll drink! Lol Hell, my kid is lucky if she gets some! Lol I love me a pina colada!
And I love that again, this is a smoothie that kids can drink, which is super healthy for them. A big win, win this Summer!
Blend the smoothie ingredients together, and then pour it into a coconut cup. Top it off with a paper umbrella and a straw, and boom goes the dynamite. Lol
Now I know none of y’all got coconut cups laying around! Lol And if you do, please comment below and let me know why! Lol However, here are a few plastic coconut cups so your kids can really feel special!
Don’t go serving these in no regular cup now! That just defeats the entire purpose! Make it cute, okurr? Lol
